Normally after a tooth extraction, people can eat soft food after 24 hours, but for drinks and hard types of food or smoking that you need to minimize for a few days, you can drink after 24 hours of cold coffee and water and normal liquids. Expect to be resting for at least the first 24 hours after the extraction. If you don’t have any gauze that’s okay, find a tea bag.

I don't know about the sucking food out of the extraction site, i would try and avoid doing it until after 72 hours after extraction. How to eat after tooth extraction? A healthy person should have a stable blood clot and start to feel better after 1 or 2 days following wisdom tooth extraction.
